Valentina Salazar Is Not a Monster Hunter

Synopsis

Valentina Salazar belongs to a family that rescues magical creatures rather than hunts them. Unicorns, chupacabras and even a chipmunk capable of breathing fire are part of that calling. After her father dies during a rescue, her mother ends their travelling life and moves the children to upstate New York, where ordinary school is a new experience. Val cannot simply stop being a protector. A video showing a mysterious egg gives her a new mission, and she persuades her siblings to help before it hatches. Other people are looking for it too: monster hunters who want the creature destroyed and threaten the Salazars themselves.
