Synopsis

Nine and the House's inhabitants have broken the spell that kept them trapped, opening up the possibility of travelling between worlds again. They head for a hopscotch competition for wizards, but their newly liberated home has an awkward problem: travel makes it nervous, and nervousness gives it hiccups. Each hiccup sends the House bouncing somewhere else. Reaching the championships does not end their difficulties, because Flabberghast's encounter with the seventh square brings the mysterious Tower into the adventure. There may be answers here, both for the House's condition and for Nine, whose treasured music box holds questions about the person who gave it to her.
