Synopsis
With the House's hiccups finally dealt with, Nine and her unusual companions can set out on another journey. Their destination is the Back of Beyond, where they hope to find Professor Dish, the alchemist who is also Spoon's closest friend. What should be a search becomes a rescue when they discover where he has ended up. Ophidia, a witch with a powerful appetite for more, is keeping Dish prisoner beneath an extraordinary shop. Nine's resourcefulness and Flabberghast's unreliable spells may not be enough to release him. To overcome this particular enemy, the travelling household needs help from someone who understands how curses work.
