Ilana López spends the summer with her aunt in Prague, torn between her violin and the plans her immigrant parents have for her. A forgotten Jewish cemetery brings her into contact with Benjamin, a boy who died long ago. As their closeness grows, another figure offers dangerous magic in this lyrical story of family, memory and belonging.
